Technical/Networking Training

Computer Training Source Inc. has Technical and Networking training programs approved for funding by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and the Trade Adjustment Act (TAA). The below programs are approved for WIOA and TAA training grants.
A+ Net+ Security+ Program
After obtaining these three industry-standard certifications, you will be qualified to support a company’s employees by finding solutions to their hardware, networking, and Microsoft platform problems. Training and certification in computer hardware and networking are included. The MCSA certification in computer hardware and networking are included. The MCSA certification will provide evidence of your knowledge and skills in Microsoft platforms. Training and certification in Microsoft Office is also included so that you are prepared to answer questions about Microsoft Excel or any of the other Microsoft Office programs. OFFICIAL certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA are included. Disclosure
CCNA/A+/Net+ Program
Designed for Network Administrators, this program includes the following certifications: computer hardware (CompTIA A+), networking setup/installation (CompTIA Network+), and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). These hands-on classes are led by certified instructors, with small sizes for personal attention. Extensive student manuals, practice exams, and all official certification costs are included in the fees for this program. Placement assistance available. Institutional scholarships may be available if your government voucher limit is less than the cost of this program. No costs to the student with a government grant. Placement assistance and internships available after you have passed at least one certification. Our classes are conducted live, with our students and the instructor in the classroom. If you prefer, you can attend classes remotely-you will be participating from home in live classes. Certified instructors with real-world experience in what they teach. Disclosure
Certified Trainer Program
Program includes your choice of classes: the Adobe Creative Suite and/or Microsoft Office. Then Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) and/or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification. Next is Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) training and certification (including the required video submission). The goal of the program is to achieve Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and/or Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) status. Can be completed in 20 weeks, or extended up to 9 months if necessary. Scholarships may be available if your government voucher limit is less than the cost of this program. Our classes are conducted with our students and the instructor in the classroom. If you prefer, you may be able to attend some of the classes remotely – you will be participating from home in live classes. Disclosure
A+ Help Desk Technician Program
Training and certification in computer hardware installation, problem diagnosis, repair, and troubleshooting is included (A+). Also included is training in computer networking (Net+) and best practices in IT (ITIL Foundations). Official certifications from CompTIA (A+ and Network+) and ITIL are included. Placement assistance and internships available. Scholarships may be available if your government voucher limit is less than the cost of this program. IT Support Specialist
This program may be customized to fit the needs of the student. Up to four of the following certifications can be included: project management/business analysis (PMP, Agile, ITIL, Six Sigma, Business Analysis), computer hardware (CompTIA A+), networking set up/installation (Network+, CCNA), SQL, Cloud (AWS), Salesforce, security (Security+, CISSP). Also, training in Tableau, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project can also be included. These hand-on classes are led by certified instructors, with small class sizes for personal attention. Extensive student manuals are included. certification fees included. Placement assistance available. Microsoft Office Specialist – Computer Repair Program
Includes: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access. The computer repair (A+) training includes operating system installation training and hardware repair training. Can be completed in 16 weeks, or extended over 6 months. Training, student materials, practice test, and 5 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exams, and 2 computer repair (A+) exams are included in this program. Scholarships may be available if your government voucher limit is less than the cost of this program. Our classes are conducted with our students and the instructor in the classroom. CCNA (80 Hours)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance- based skills. Our training will prepare you to achieve a CCNA certification. Disclosure
Cisco Certified Network Administrator
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threat introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. Training and certification in Microsoft Office, A+ Net+, MySQL, or other subjects can be included in this program. Extensive student manuals are included. Disclosure
CompTIA A+ (52 hours)
If you are getting ready for a career as an entry-level information technology (IT) professional or personal computer (PC) service technician, the CompTIA A+ Certification course is the first step in your preparation. The course will present fundamental skills and concepts that you will use on the job. In this course, you will acquire the essential skills to install, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, and perform preventative maintenance of basic personal computer hardware and operating systems. CompTIA Network+ (40 hours)
Network+ certification is an international industry credential that validates the knowledge of networking professionals with 18-24 months of experience in the IT industry. Earning the Network+ certification means that the candidate possesses the knowledge needed to configure a wide range of vendor and product-neutral networking technologies. Network+ can also serve as a prerequisite for vendor-specific IT Certifications such as Cisco’s CCIE track. Disclosure
CompTIA Security+ (40 hours)
This course will prepare students to pass the current CompTIA Security+ certification exam. After taking this course, students will understand the field of network security and how it relates to other areas of information technology. This course also provides the broad-based knowledge necessary to prepare for further study in specialized security fields, or it can serve as a capstone course that gives a general introduction to the field. MS Office/Website Maintenance/QuickBooks
This program includes training in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Access, Adobe Dreamweaver, HTML, Photoshop, Acrobat, and QuickBooks. You’ll learn the introductory through advanced topics. OFFICIAL certifications from Microsoft, Adobe, and QuickBooks included.
